The Metro Region Innovation Hub is part of Business Oregon's statewide network of Regional Innovation Hubs, enhancing the coordination of services and resources to maximize support for innovation-based entrepreneurs. As the Metro Region Innovation Hub, we serve Clackamas, Multnomah, and Washington County.

Our Purpose
The Hub exists to foster collaboration between entrepreneurs and business service providers, ensuring mutual trust and access to essential resources, as we work together to build a stronger, more inclusive small business ecosystem in the Portland Metro region.
Our Key Initiatives
At the Hub, we’re dedicated to building stronger innovative businesses in the Portland Metro region by knowing where entrepreneurs can find help with their unique challenges. Here’s how we’re making a difference:

Resource Navigation
We provide one-on-one informational sessions to all entrepreneurs in the region, as capacity allows. Through these sessions, we provide paths to the region’s resources and help for entrepreneurs, through referrals and introductions where possible.

Mentor Program
For some innovation-based entrepreneurs, we make connections to industry-specific mentors to help you accomplish time-limited, specific tasks that bring concrete value to your idea or business.

Skills Program
For some innovation-based entrepreneurs, we help facilitate custom skills-building or educational classes in partnership with our regional community partners.

Office Space Available
The Metro Region Innovation Hub is housed within Portland State University’s SEC building. A variety of office spaces in this building is available for rent via the Portland State Business Accelerator.
